It happened. Portland bribed the sun. Every year about this time, the mayor sends an email out begging for contributions.
We all chip in and send a pillowcase full of dollar bills to the sun and the clouds. They split it 60/40 (no one is sure who gets the larger share) and give us something we’ve all needed for months. Warmth: sweet, sunny, warmth.

It’s not uncommon that I will get an email from a customer months after they’ve been wearing b & i, just to tell me how much they love their pick. I can’t tell you enough how happy this makes me. I tell them and I’ll reiterate here: it’s that enthusiastic authentic unsolicited feedback that makes this whole thing worth it to me.
